Watermelon, Lemon & Ginger Detox Drink

When was the last time you gave your body a gentle detox?


This detox drink is super simple to make and is incredibly tasty. It is also another fantastic alternative to drinking warm water with lemon. With only 3 ingredients you will blend it up in a flash. Your body will really thank you for getting rid of any unwanted toxins that might be stored up.

The watermelon is a great base as it is so hydrating, being 92% water. It is high in vitamins A and C. It is also good for reducing blood pressure, promoting weight loss and elevating mood.

The lemon is also high in vitamin C (one of the greatest antioxidants) which will help protect the cells in your body from damage. The lemon will help eliminate toxins from the body, boost your immune system and is anti inflammatory.

The ginger supports your digestive system, reduces blood sugar and is anti ageing. Ginger is also very effective for anyone suffering with anxiety or depression. This is due to its ability of increasing the serotonin and dopamine levels in the body. These two neurotransmitters are associated with feelings of happiness, focus, motivation and relaxation.
